With the stupendous success of our first event, it is high time for us to plan for the next one. So, we were all thinking about what would be the next event. There were a lot of ideas, suggestions on the same (Thanks to the great team we have here who contributed a lot). But sooryodhayam has to choose the most deserving one, keeping that in mind, we kept searching for the Ashram that is destitute of the basic amenities. We don’t generally help a well established orphanage which is already in a very good shape and living in the shadows of huge funds. So, with all due requirements, our crew went around and started searching for the right one and they came up with one such kind called “Vallalar Gurukulam” near Medavakkam. This is the place we were searching for, because when the entire nation is celebrating Diwali with sweets, crackers, and new clothes to be put on, people belong to this ashram don’t even have proper uniform. After knowing their pathetic situation, we agreed to help these students by getting them a new dress (uniform) and we call it as the EVENT #2. This is going to be held on 21st Nov 2010 (affirmative).
